It started when we received an SOS signal on Laythe. The situation was weird from the beginning because the message was encrypted which doesn't makes sense given that it was a distress signal. After multiple failed attempt to decrypt it, I made the decision to go closer to the source. We boarded the Vengeance and warped closer to the signal while still keeping a reasonable distance. Being closer to the signal allowed me to decrypt it and establish a video transmission with the source. It seemed to be a Cruiser type ship with a small army on it. They claimed that their planet was destroyed and they had to flee using this ship. They said that they were starving and dying. However, shortly after this interaction, the asteroids next to us revealed themselves as disguised endless ships. Fortunately, the 2nd had already come as reinforcement and we managed to defeat the endless. However, this came at a cost. Towards the end of the battle, we lost the flagship of the 4th battalion, the AHF Vengeance.
