After Meruda had been destroyed and I had been chosen as the new leader of the 4th, we decided to go on an expedition and claim a new planet for the 4th and the AHA. We discovered 3 potential planets but Laythe was by far the most habitable. The only problem was that a relatively small endless fleet was above it. We decided to attack and destroy them in order to claim the planet. However, when warping to the system, something, which remains unknown to this day, pulled the Vengeance out of warp and left us right in the middle of the enemies. We were surrounded by a fleet which was way larger than the scouts had reported. In the emergency situation, the 2nd was called, but they needed some time to arrive. Sebzin, still disguised as CT, boarded the biggest enemy ship, a battleship. We managed to get to the bridge where we could control the ship itself, but not the weapons. Seeing no other way to save the Vengeance, I steered the battleship into another large enemy ship, destroying both in the process. The second arrived just in time and TU was able to get me and Sebzin off the ship we took over. The last few enemy ships were quickly taken care of after that and we left the battle with heavy damage on the Vengeance. We were forced to land on the planet now know as Laythe and immediatly started repairs. We also started the construction on the base which I called Gaia.
