Operation: Hell’s Creek

Index: 1170

Author: Sgt. Ice | Helljumper

Mystery ships have been attacking 4th Battalion assets. After some investigation we discovered that the ships have were from the planet malevolon-6. A completely isolated planet after Sargent Nori did a scouting mission (see her report on the mission) Commander Jesse made the decision to send the 1st and 3rd corps to take the planet for the AHA.

DAY 1: The Landing

To start off the invasion the Commander Jesse, Major Ronin, Major Ares, Sargent Sunny, and rookie member of the 4th Knight supported by the 110th under the command of CSM Gator and the 91st were also deployed to get a foothold. We knew this was a suicide mission but someone had to do it. The pods hit the ground and we stepped out it was quiet to quiet. Private cricket of the 91st was the first casualty. They opened fire on us from the trees. Casualties were heavy the 91st being all but wiped out. Jesse ordered us to form up rifleman knight used some technology and sped off. As we held that hill we all thought the same thing this was the end of the 4th battalion. That’s when support got to the ground. The 1st division came to save the day and push forward. We set up a F.O.B (Forward Operating Base). The 110th and 91st were pulled back to run security and Commander jesse and Major ronin went to investigate a camp that the scouts have reported

DAY 1: THE CAMP CONTENT WARNING

||after taking out the guards jesse and ronin found that this was death camp where civilians were tortured and killed they were starved, burned, beaten, forced to eat the dead to survive, and it was wasn’t just the men but the women and the children there was only survivor a baby not even a week old. Just typing this sickens me.||

DAY 2: THE STRONGHOLD

An enemy stronghold was located 13 miles east of our location this was our chance to finally contact the fleet and get real momentum going . The plan was for Commander Jesse, Sgt Sunny, and the 1st and 2nd divisions to attack the front with the few tanks we managed to get planetside while Maj Ronin took his men underneath. The main assault went was going well and soon we breached the outer gate and and began to sweep the compound that is when ice finally joined the battle dropping in and hijacking the ship the enemy commander was on the day was won and a proper foothold was established.

DAY 3 : BRIDGE TO HELL

With Ice’s return and the resupply the 110th set out for a dangerous but critical operation. The Red nile river is our biggest roadblock only one bridge across this was also a major highway for the enemy supply line and troop movement taking this bridge would be a major turning point in the war. The 110th helljumpers and 104th wolf pack were dispatched to take the bridge and hold it till the main force moves up or destroy it if victory is not possible , the plan was for the 110th to do a drop pod landing on the bridge while the 104th provides support from the ridge above the bridge. At 1400 hst (harmony standard time) we made landing catching the enemy off guard but resistance was still heavy after 3 hours the bridge was our, and dur to an attack on the main base reinforcements were delayed so for the next 24 hours we fought off counterattacks till Commander Jesse got there to see the AHA flag waving high. We were relieved of the position and went to base to plan the attack on the capital tomorrow.

DAY 4 : THE CAPITAL

After the swag op concluded (see swag report) we were given the green light to move in. It was all hands on deck with Commander Jesse leading the charge. As we crossed the bridge fire was heavy but we kept moving forward like the Spartans of old. The 6th went on the wall while the rest took to the streets. We beat them back to their city hall where they unveiled a new weapon a giant mech. Sunny took it on and after a long fight he took it down. The capital was ours we were battered and bruised but the day was won.
