Operation: Lone Star & The Death Of Rogue Operative Star

Battle

Objective:To neutralize the rogue operative "Star", SWAG’s Strike Team Alpha was deployed. The AO was a 5-mile Radius surrounding a seemingly abandoned two-story lodge in the north region of planet Cathedra. The mission was critical due to Star's access to [REDACTED]. The jump insertion was good, landing within the target area. The team breached the building with ease. Inside, Alpha initially encountered no resistance. However, an unknown assailant attacked Alpha-1 with a spray bottle, attempting to remove Alpha-1’s helmet. Alpha-2 terminated the assailant, and the body and spray bottle were confiscated. Once inside, Alpha encountered multiple IEDs. After clearing the 1st floor, they found a hidden door leading underground. With the second floor still compromised, the team split: Alpha-1-3 took the tunnel while Alpha-4 and 5 secured the second floor. On the second floor, Alpha-4 and 5 encountered multiple IEDs and Unknown Assailant #2, armed with a Flatline firing depleted uranium rounds. After a five-minute firefight, the assailant ran out of ammunition and was secured. They discovered a lab and weapon station. Alpha-1-3 found the TOC in the tunnel, containing servers, incoherent writings, and camera feeds. Star uncloaked, stabbing Alpha-3 and shooting Alpha-2. Alpha-1 terminated Star with an R-101. After calling for medical assistance for Alpha-2 and 3, Alpha-1 discovered a dirty bomb, which Star had activated. With little time left, Alpha-1 used their phase module to remove the device as it detonated, resulting in Alpha-1’s casualty. All other assets were retrieved. Addendum 1:Both Unknown Assailants were related to IMC Intelligence agency members, the spray bottle and lab contained Ricin, and server data linked to classified data, Star seemingly planned to sell. Addendum 2:The writing on the walls matched [REDACTED] beliefs, further investigation needed.
