The purpose of this report is to detail events that the Lieutenant General, who wrote the previous report did not witness. Despite also not witnessing these, I have compiled this report from the testimonies of multiple involved. As our soldiers entered the base and TU’s team split off to locate Phoenix. They decided to split into two teams, one heading downwards into another cave and one into a walkway leading to the main complex. However Lance Corporal (now sergeant) Ares of the 3rd alerted the enemy forces having to cover sergeant V.V of the 2nd from a sniper. The plan quickly fell apart as the team found the remains of multiple 2nd pilots and were pushed put of the cave. They fought off drones and spectres for a while, multiple sustaining injuries before having to enter the walkway. They caught up with Captian Jooper and corporal Ronin of the 4th who had previously entered and were quickly pinned down by spectres where Commissar Raptor was unexpectedly headshot and killed (since he has been thankfully transferred to a sim due to the commendable efforts of Commander Cipher).The walkway was then destroyed by enemy artillery and the group were dropped onto the base below. Having sustained multiple casualties, the group retreated and regrouped at the surface, planning to come back down to draw attention from the stealth team. I belive that Ares lost one of his units and Master sergeant Shinzo lost her Sim at this point, but it is unclear when exactly this happened. The group resolved to go back into enemy territory and fought valiantly, this time not taking as many casualties. The leader of the IMC defectors called off the attack and challenged our men to a dual in exchange for their lives, his ogre class titan equipped with a large mace and Master Sergeant Jesse obliged, using Lieutenant Squid’s titan Cornelius and a brutal fight ensued, during which the Lieutenant general’s team located phoenix and regrouped with the rest of the group. Both titans were critically Damaged and Jesse was badly wounded before Cornelius was in a losing position. This is when i revealed myself, rodeoing the hostile titan and setting off a frag grenade in his chassis, stunning him for long enough for Jesse to win the fight with a well placed fist through the foe’s chest, killing the pilot. I was incapacitated from the explosion and my impact with the ground and was evacuated along with the surviving men from my scout and rescue teams, Lieutenant Squid destroyed the base with an attack from Seraph Station in orbit and tbe wounded were tended to, Master Sergeant Jesse was almost killed and is suffering from amnesia that is currently being treated and me and Phoenix were both heavily injured. Many others from the team were also hurt, with Raptor of course being the most serious. I accept full responsibility for me and Rifleman Phoenix’s capture and any and all damage to the rescue team and the men i had previously sent, I am deeply sorry for this and will strive to redeem this failiure through exemplary service.
