After a new command change and recent developments in their millitarum, the 4th battalion required something to test themselves out on. An opportunity soon arose when Phoenix alerted me of his home planet coming under endless control. At 6:28 we set out with our fleet to reach the planet, it was captured in three days Day 1: Our fleet warped in and met medium resistance, thanks to the help of Lt squid. Our army soon deployed onto the surface while the warships fought for air superiority, after an intense battle we had managed to create a fortification and front line. Recon units were sent to scout ahead while our tanks continued the advance, picking off any stray groups of xenos Day 2: Today was our major push, there were multiple citys in sight, they would make good strongholds. We began our operation with the capturing of a prison camp, however due to the actions and disobedience of [redacted] most of the POW did not survive as they were executed. Nevertheless we moved forward, accompanied by Commissar Mango in her corsair mech, we charged for the next major enemy base. I myself was fighting in our new castigator class titan however was hit directly by an orbital strike. I crawled myself out of the wreckage and into a Ronin. Accepting my death, I activated the dash core and forward to the enemies lines. Arriving behind the enemy, the titan was almost dead, however I soon activated my nuke eject with....minimal disturbances. What survived the blast crawled away in fear and pain...they knew they didn't have long left. After a while of scraps and short advancements we came across something peculiar, a defective PHC rifleman approached us and claimed to want to fight with us, I personally have my doubts but It shall not interfere with his time in the AHA. Day 3: I arrived on the scene to find us in the middle of a major conflict, SWAG had been called for re-enforcements and were working well with our troops to take out a collection of AA guns, the capital city was in our grasp. Lead by myself, with major assistance from Com. Voodoo and captain wello, we successfully finished off what was left of the endless forces. All those who struggled were killed, we made prisoners of the rest. Due to the success of the operation, Ronin was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant, and rifleman phoenix has been brought into consideration for a promotion aswell. Special thanks to Com.
