Operation Halycon Hunter's objective was to make landfall on the area harboring the insurgents and private forces that had been attacking Laythe, apprehend the high-value target (HVT) responsible for executing Cpl. Alex Grim, and recover Grim’s body. SWAG Operatives infiltrated via a low orbit jump, picking off several guards around the target compound from a distance before moving in. One unit took the front entry while the other took the roof entrance. After clearing the compound and conducting sensitive site exploitation (SSE), they linked up with additional SWAG Operatives and discovered an underground tunnel leading to Grim's execution site. The operatives used a "nine banger" flash bang to stun the opposition. Following the apprehension of the HVT and the recovery of Grim's body, the opposition forces attempted to collapse the tunnel with a grenade. Fortunately, the operatives used an insurrectionist’s body to cushion the blast. All opposition forces were neutralized, and both the HVT and Grim's body were successfully recovered.
