This report is to record the tragic desth of V.V and the events happening at the same time. A corresponding report will be made that details the events that occured directly after this. I had gone up to the experimental shield generator protecting Sokenzan for regular maintenance when it suddenly exploded (we later learned that this was the result of sabotage). I survived this attempt on my life but was incapacitated and unable to use comms due to the ongoing snowstorm. Sergeant V.V valiantly flew out in a dropship to search for me or perhaps track my assailants when he was shot down, Lieutenant general TU rushed to where the ship crash landed but it was far too late. His chassis and internal systems were irreparably damaged. V.V was an exemplary member of the 2nd and will be missed by all of us and those from other battalions. He was a good soldier and friend who I fought many battles with early on in my career. Like the previous incident with Phoenix (reports #314201 and #314301) I accept full responsibility for this.
