Operation objective, to infil to the planet of [REDACTED] and rescue SWAG Task Force element Sigurd 1 from a Scalpel & Hammer industrial complex, after they’d been compromised while on an investigation. SWAG units accompanied by an element of the 2nd Battalion committed to a HO jump as the AHF Infiltrator had entered the planet’s orbit. Due to the ongoing civil war on the planet, AHA units were easily able to avoid detection in the airspace during the jump. AHA units met with local sympathizers who armed them with two light Mike Victors. AHA elements would proceed to the industrial complex and after attempting a peaceful search, began raiding the complex. The raid party would split into two elements, one would push into the upper floors and would successfully extract all data from the site. Meanwhile, group two would move through the manufacturing area and clear the AO of hostiles. Once the two groups had reconvened, they pushed to the open mining fields where they would find Sigurd 1 KIA along with locals to the region who showed signs of being exploited. Upon preparing exfill AHA units would be ambushed by QRF elements, sustaining heavy injuries. After site QRF had fully arrived, Operation CO would call for CAS on the industrial complex fully collapsing the facility. Mission is a success, all data retrieved.
