After the last mission, the 4th had a mysterious core on Meruda for analysing. Rooster and Sebzin scanned the orb and send the data to me. I was not able to fully make out what it was but it appeared very unstable to me. Commander JyFK was also claiming that it is a bomb. Unfortunately, the suspicions were true. When the core was disconnected from it's original place, a chain reaction, that would eventually lead up to a powerful explosion, started. We immediately started evacutation of the whole planet. We were working with only a few minutes of time so JyFK tried to defuse it but that was unsuccessful. We could evacuate most people but in the end, some civilians and soldiers did not make it in time. Among those were Sebzin and Cipher. They survived the initial explosion and were drifting in space. First, I recovered Cipher who was in a Northstar titan. However, it turned out that the message from Sebzin was already old and he was most likely already dead as we could not reach his signal anymore. We had to return to Harmony and Typhon to regroup and rearm. After that, I returned to Merudas former location and was actually able to find the Major's frozen body. We were insanely lucky as the fozen state preserved the body and most importantly, the brain, in a relatively good state. I returned the body to Harmony and was able to perform a very precise operation where I "restarted" the brain for a short time with the sole purpose of being able to transfer the conscience to a simulacrum body. While he did not like his new body at first, the Major would come to realise that it's not all bad.
