Delivery of Justice

Author: Gen. SAMP

When an individual is discovered to have broken one of our laws they are to be apprehended and restrained* using whatever means are appropriate including but not limited to handcuffs, rope, restraining bolts etc.

From there all apprehended individuals are to be transported to the holding facility on Harmony where they will await a trial. When their trial date arrives the individual is to be transported by appropriate means from the holding facility to the courthouse under watch of armed guards.

Trials consist of a jury of the apprehendeds peers, a defendant of their choice*, a prosecution and a judge.

The judge overseeing the trial is to be a member of high command or an officer appointed by a member of high command in their absence. After the trial has concluded it is the judges responsibility to decide a fair sentence proportional to crimes of the defendant.

Upon entering the courthouse all personnel are required to take their appropriate seats and deposit all weaponry with guards before entering.

Personnel disrupting the proceedings may be asked to leave or forcefully removed by onsite security.

*lethal force against an individual of the A.H.A is a lost resort and must be authorised by a member of high command. The only exception being if it is in self defense and all other options have been exercised.

*if the defendant does not choose a defence one will be appointed for them by senior officers or a member of high command that is not overseeing the trial.
